How to Apply for an ABC ID Card via DigiLocker Portal

1. Visit Official Website:
Visit the official website of DigiLocker (digilocker.gov.in) or download the DigiLocker app to start the following procedure.

2. Sign In Or Sign Up:
If you are an Existing User, click on sign in, enter your information, such as your mobile number, Aadhaar number, or user name, and then enter your password. Verify your auto-generated OTP, which is sent to your registered phone number. If you are a New User, follow the instructions on your screen and enter your original details to create your DigiLocker account.

3. Search for the Academic Bank of Credits ID Card:
- After logging in, click the “Search Documents” tab in the side panel.
- In the search bar, type “ABC ID Card” or browse under the “Education” category to find it.
- Then, click on the “Academic Bank of Credits (ABC Card)” option from the results.

4. Create your ABC Card:

Creating an Academic Bank of Credits ID card directly through the abc.gov.in official website is impossible. However, you can easily generate one through your Digi Locker account. Just follow these simple steps below:
1. Please make sure you have an active DigiLocker account. If you do not, you can create one by signing up on the official DigiLocker website.
2. Then visit the ABC Government’s official website.

3. In your portal dashboard, go to the “My Account” section and choose the “Student Login” option to continue the process.

- If you are new to the UMANG portal, sign up for registration by providing your details, such as your mobile number (for OTP verification), selecting your state, clicking on the check box to agree to the terms and conditions, and then clicking on register to create your new account.
